Sudo ln -s /usr/lib/nvidia-361/libGL.so /usr/autodesk/maya2017/lib/ (I have a GTX960) In my case it could be fixed with Maya couldn't find the correct libGL.so from my nvidia drivers. Nonetheless i had some small issues with the maya startup.
